Research Areas

Cultural, creative and digital industries
Political economy of the cinema, audiovisual and media industries
Territorial dynamics and governance
Civil action and citizen participation

My research activities focus on the socio-economics and political economy of the cultural, creative and digital industries. I am particularly interested in the interactions between :

  • Global social, economic and institutional dynamics: platformization, technologies, creative and intelligent cities, environmental issues, social inequalities,
  • Reconfigurations of the ways in which players are organized and cooperate: economic sectors, professional and civic organizations, residents, public decision-makers,
  • Territorial dynamics as spaces and instances for ideological and socio-economic expressions and conflicts: public policies, institutional and self-regulation, power relations and cooperation.

I adopt a systemic approach to my research objects, convinced of the importance of situating the interactions of social actors within frameworks and power relations that shape their paradigms, organizations and modes of action.
